
Meet Dr. Kruthika Swaminathan, DDS, MPH
Dr. Kruthika Swaminathan is a compassionate dentist who believes dentistry is about more than treating teeth it’s about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their smiles. She finds it especially rewarding to help patients who come in experiencing pain or discomfort, relieving their concerns and helping them get back to feeling like themselves.
A central part of Dr. Kruthika’s philosophy is changing the way patients experience dentistry. She understands that dental visits can be associated with anxiety or fear, and she strives to create a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and at ease. By taking the time to build trust and explain treatment options, she hopes to make dental care a positive and empowering experience.
Education & Advanced Training
Dr. Kruthika began her dental career in India before continuing her education in the United States. She earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Southern California, completed advanced training in restorative dentistry at UCLA, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
She enjoys providing comprehensive dental care and has a particular interest in restorative and implant dentistry. As an Implant Pathway Fellow, Dr. Kruthika continues to pursue advanced education and training to provide her patients with modern, thoughtful treatment options tailored to their individual needs.
Giving Back to the Community
Dr. Kruthika is passionate about supporting the next generation of dental professionals. She serves on the advisory council for the dental program at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, where she enjoys mentoring students and encouraging them as they begin their careers in dentistry.
Beyond the Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kruthika is learning to play the violin, enjoys staying active, and loves spending time with family and friends. She is proud to be part of the Lehigh Valley community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients one smile at a time.
