COVID-19 Dental Care – we are currently scheduling patients*
*Following guidelines put in place by Pennsylvania Department of Health, Center for Disease Control (CDC) and American Dental Association (ADA), some dental procedures may not be allowed at this time.
We’ve taken extraordinary measures to deliver the safe dental care our patients need.
COVID-19 Safety Measures & Infection Control
Here’s what’s happening in our practice while we strategize to reopen and hope that our patients will feel safe in receiving oral care they need.
We have added multiple layers of protection and infection control measures -
Highly efficient central air purification system with ActivePure® (Certified Space technology) - Air Scrubber by Aerus
With ActivePure® Technology, you can go beyond traditional air purification systems by not only eliminating stale odors and reducing dust, but actually eliminating harmful contaminants in the air and on the surfaces of your home.
Extraoral Aerosol Suction Unit
EPA Approved Hypochlorous Acid Fogging
Sneeze guard for safety of patients and staff
UV light disinfection of rooms every night
UV light has been used for sterilization and disinfection as early as the mid-20th century. You can find it being used to disinfect: water, air, fruits, vegetables, surgical utensils, tablet computers, toys and a variety of surfaces.
Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Additional layers of protection include:
Daily Staff screening for symptoms
Limited use of waiting room
Frequent disinfecting of all surfaces including door knobs, counter, pens etc
No more than 2 patients in the office at any given time
COVID-19 & Your Dental Visit
Your dental visit may look a little different next time you’re at the office. We have redesigned your check-in process to adhere with social distancing guidelines and other recommendations made by government and other official bodies.
All patients must wear masks.
We will screen each patient at the time of scheduling the appointment, at the time of check in and 2 weeks post appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, call us and wait in your vehicle. We’ll call you back when it’s time to come in.
All patients will be asked to wash hands for minimum of 20-30 seconds and sanitize upon arrival.
We will offer shoe covers and gloves for your safety.
All patients will be asked for a pre-procedural hydrogen peroxide rinse.
Your safety is our utmost concern. We hope that you will feel confident and continue to receive oral health care. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during this uncertain times.
